Treated me well the second I walked in the door, mind you this is the first time I've been here. It's on par with my favorite donair place in edmonton(Swiss donair north edmonton). Amazing taste, perfect amount of meat to veggies ratio and the flavor profile of the meat was great; a nice kick of heat on the meat to counter balance the sweet sauce. Would come back if I'm Southside.
I drive from Eagle Mountain, Utah, USA to come visit family in Edmonton 2x a year roughly and without fail this is where I go to first. After a 17-20 hour trip and before even visiting family. I stop here and get a jumbo spicy Donair with extra sweet sauce and without fail it is a mouth watering experience. They have changed management since I first started coming here roughly 8 years ago but still always friendly and great food!
We decided these are the BEST donairs we've ever eaten! They were so friendly. We don't spend much time in Edmonton BUT WE MIGHT NOW TO GET THESE DONAIRS

I can't believe how delicious the food is here! I have tried the best poutine in Edmonton and the donairs are exquisite, my favorite has been the spicy one, plus the dressing on the fries makes everything even more delicious. The best thing is the attention of the staff which is fantastic, they has the patience to recommend based on what you are looking for, I was fascinated with this place which is also halal. I highly recommend it and I will return soon with my family for sure
This is by far the best donair in the city. Amean is in a strip mall on 34 Avenue in Edmonton. This shop has been here for years and continues to put out the best donairs in the city. Folks may not realize but most of the donair restaurants sell pre packaged meats. The vast majority of restaurants are, in fact, selling the same donairs. These folks have made their own with delicious herbs and spices. And it's all halal. The donairs are also enormous. They pack in to your pita! The one in the photo is a super. The jumbo is monstrous! The service here is incredible. They take the time to remember you and how you like your food offered. They know that I often like mine fried a little more on the grill which gives it some crispness and extra zest. And they are so friendly! The space is average. It's like many donair restaurants. Tables and chairs. Lol I cannot say enough about Amean. It will change your donair experience forever.

I'd say t Amean has some of the best Donairs in Edmonton. Their Donairs have a great balance of meat, sauces and veggies. I haven't tried their Pizzas but saw someone's order and they looked delicious as well. Will be trying the Pizza next time.
